Biella did it! On the 30th of October it joined the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN). The capital of wool joins the network for creativity in the ‘craft and folk art’ sector after enchanting Paris in recent days with the beauty of its know-how, particularly for the textile industry, with a special focus on sustainability. Contributors of its candidacy in the French capital were also the gondoliers of Venice with their white and blue striped uniforms, including the sweater made with our Tollegno 1900 wool. A surprising accomplishment that rewards the tremendous commitment of the whole area, which has never worked as closely together for a common goal as on this occasion. A result that brings the right recognition to a territory where we have never stopped working by combining tradition, know-how, and innovation. #makebiellagreatagain!
