Our manufacturing sites in Italy and Poland

The company is now a highly structured reality that integrates all the steps of the supply chain: from the production of yarns through to finished products. The products ranging from the industry to hand knitting, with classic and special yarns in pure wool and precious fibers, for outer knitwear, circular knitting and weaving.

In Tollegno, the original company headquarter, are in operation plants for both the production of yarns that for the production of fabrics.

The Polish plant of Lodz, acquired in 1997, satisfies the need of an alternative production site in Europe for the production of yarn.

THE PLANTS IN TOLLEGNO

In the production site of Tollegno you have both plants for the production of yarns (in the spinning mills) and the facilities for the realization of the fabrics (in the wool mill).
Production takes place entirely at the company’s properties, in order to ensure a proper control of the entire production chain, from raw material to yarn.
A constant process of innovation has allowed us to combine and integrate taste and elegance with the search for new technological solutions, with a focus on sustainability.

The current production area covers over 100,000 square meters. The daily production of yarns for weaving and knitting, dyed and raw, is about 16,000 kg per day, while the average daily production of fabrics is up to 20,000 meters. The workforce of the headquarters of Tollegno is about 1000 people.

TOLLEGNO 1900 POLAND

In spring 1999, Tollegno 1900 Poland starts to produce weaving yarn to meet the needs of Filatura e Tessitura di Tollegno.

The next step of major importance has been riding the years 2001/2002, through the launch of new yarn with new production lines dedicated and inserted in the new acquisition of the production facility.

Other important steps were, in 2003 the goodwill of Basolan treatment process, in 2005 the installation of machinery for the production of SIRO yarns with lycra and in 2011 the plant start-up tops dyeing.

The current production area covers 34.200 square meters. The daily production of yarns for weaving and knitting, dyed and raw, is about 14,500 kg per day. The workforce of Tollegno 1900 Poland is about 390 people.

The production takes place at four production lines divided in departments.
