Confirmation that wool is an all-round yarn, for its ability to interpret a multitude of different contexts and worlds, thanks to its innate characteristics, is demonstrated by the “TOLLEGNO 1900 BLANKET DRESSING” project, in which the ultimate natural yarn offers new ways of interpreting interior design and furnishing. But not only that.
On the strength of its high-performance (wrinkle- and stain-resistance in particular), prestige (softness) and aesthetic (three-dimensionality) qualities, Harmony4.0 has been used to dress furniture and accessories in the pursuit of creativity and lifestyle, thus adding interest to home settings, with innovative, interchangeable interpretations.
Wool thus takes a new approach to home dressing, through knitted sofa seats, covers for pedant or floor lamps or coffee table legs, creating new looks capable of simply yet gracefully renewing the look of a room. Further confirmation is provided by the felted, chunky rug which not only gives a signature look to living spaces and master bedrooms, but also creates a sense of well-being in the rooms in which it is placed.
An experiment conducted by in Great Britain by the Electricity Council Research Centre confirmed that in a damp room that is then sealed, the presence of wool-covered floors and furnishing fabrics in the same yarn helped to significantly reduce humidity within a few hours.
