Yarn making: a world of wool
In over 60 thousand square meters, more than 300 machines produce fine yarns such as merino wool, the protagonist of our collections
At Tollegno 1900, we leave nothing to chance when it comes to yarns: to ensure accurate control of the entire production chain, starting from the raw material to the final product, we follow each processing step directly in our factories.
Thanks to our staff of constantly kept up-to-date professionals and through high-performance machinery that combines technology and sustainability with the utmost respect for the diktats of safety for man and the environment, every year we produce thousands of tons of worsted yarns for knitting, our specialisation.
What makes our yarn making special is the working method, which allows us to offer a high standardisation of product quality and to ensure full compliance with delivery times.
Constant investments in technology and innovation contribute to supporting the achievement of these objectives, expressed in state-of-the-art devices capable of fulfilling the demands of a constantly evolving market.
On the other hand, the care we reserve for the environment remains firm, implementing eco-friendly practices that allow us to exploit self-produced energy, reuse the wastewater thanks to an osmosis treatment and adopt production processes aimed at avoiding any toxic component.
Furthermore, in the name of circular economy, we recover 100% of our processing waste which, after it has undergone reuse processes, is replaced on the sales circuits.
These are good practices that we wanted to authenticate with the main certifications recognised by the sector.
All these choices arise from this awareness: our yarns speak for us, they are a reflection of who we are and how we work, they express our spirit that treasures its traditions but continually looks to the future, they are a testimony of our land and its know-how. However, they are also a clear example of our vision: to maintain a constant balance between eco-friendly commitment and business, between ethics and the market in order to continue to be an excellence among the textile companies that produce in Italy.
