It' s time to discover the brand's collection presented at Pitti Immagine Filati #99

The story of a company can be read not only through its products, but also through the faces of the people who, every day, contribute to its growth through their work, embodying its soul and expressing its most authentic essence. Tollegno 1900 is not only about the yarns it produces, but also about personal stories, shared moments and spaces for dialogue among the people who have often grown up within the factory itself.

Starting from this fundamental belief, Tollegno 1900 affirms its identity by developing a 2027/28 collection that expresses its purest values and manufacturing expertise, its commitment to sustainability and its vocation for continuous research. Innovation, creativity and experimentation are once again confirmed as the pillars of a constantly evolving wool journey, focused on valuing people and respecting nature (“In Harmony with nature”), with the culture of personal well-being as its ultimate goal.

A journey that goes “beyond” the product

If wool is the leading “face” of a journey of continuous discovery, people are the face of a bigger story, made up of hands and gazes intertwined over time, creating something that goes beyond the product itself. This story is told through the stand presented at Pitti Immagine Filati #99, where the company speaks through its people and where every story gives life to a timeless narrative. Effort, commitment, passion and emotion emerge through fragments of written and interactive interviews projected within an essential space, where every element conveys the soul of Tollegno 1900. An immersive journey in which the “faces” of people blend with the surrounding landscape, allowing visitors to perceive the deep connection between territory, people and product in a spontaneous and natural way. Not only images, but traces of humanity that make visible what often remains unseen.

The video “Beyond the yarn – The face of wool” is not just about images, but also about traces of humanity that make visible what often remains invisible.

A product in constant evolution

Tollegno 1900’s wool journey never stands still, but continues towards new destinations represented by yarns capable of interpreting the new needs of contemporary society and understanding the changes taking place in the world.

Naturalness, regeneration and attention to environmental impact are the “faces” of a collection that never renounces innovation, entrusted to new experimentation in both products and colours. Their development therefore takes shape as a creative process that goes beyond the identification of individual shades, becoming a true source of inspiration.

This is confirmed by the newly launched “Chrome”, a mouliné yarn with paired twisting capable of creating a more homogeneous, fluid and uniform blending effect between the different nuances. Ethereality and weightlessness, on the other hand, define the newly launched “Whisper”, RWS-Certified (100% Ultrafine Merino Wool), the quintessence of lightness thanks to its ultra-light micron count (15.5 microns). Naturally technical in character is the new entry “Balance” (45% Extrafine Merino Wool RWS-Certified, 35% Organic Cotton and 20% recycled polyamide), featuring a compact appearance and a pleasant feel. This tactile sensation characterises all the yarns in the “THE NT’S” line, the “face” of knitwear that is tactile and emotionally engaging, where every surface tells a story of warmth, authenticity and contemporary sophistication. Space is therefore given to new versions of yarns that have historically been part of the Collection Book – “Free NT” and “Harmony NT” – as well as to new proposals such as “Sublime NT” and “Puro Vello NT”, which, thanks to their characteristics, find their highest expression in felting.

The “faces” of the Tollegno 1900 Collection Book also tell the story of all those yarns which, season after season, have become iconic – “Harmony”, “New Royal”, “Feeling”, “Agreable”, “Sultano” – those that have been renewed from a green perspective through the use of recycled polyamide – “Nuage”, “Cosy” and “Marly” – and those that, by vocation, represent the company’s sustainable attitude: “Biolino”, “Woolcot bio”, Royalcot Bio” and “Flaxy”.
