Not just wool, cotton and linen: among natural fibres, there are also others that little is known about despite being widely used.

Considered one of the most valid alternatives to cotton, eucalyptus fibre, obtained from the pulp of eucalyptus wood, is silky, light and versatile, as well as being eco-sustainable and comfortable in contact with the skin. But not only that: it guarantees excellent moisture absorption, as it is breathable, and is also naturally hygienic because it blocks the growth of bacteria. It is also considered sustainable thanks to the characteristics of the plant from which it is obtained. In fact, eucalyptus trees require little land and prevent native forests from being cut down to make room for these plantations which also require little water to “live”. Furthermore, feeding on rainwater, they do not require irrigation systems. Their plus? They do not require pesticides as they are very resistant.
