It is a time of new developments for Lana Gatto which, for Spring/Summer 2027, is ready to launch the new “Lana Gatto Riviera” line. A fresh collection, full of colour, attentive to naturalness while always remaining sensitive to the dictates of fashion. Whether evergreen yarns or new entries, the “Lana Gatto Riviera” collection is dedicated both to lovers of the most classic tricot, thanks to continuous products such as “Nuovo Jaipur”, “Cablè 5”, “Silky” (100% silk), “Cotton Soft”, “Cashcot” (cashmere and cotton) and “Sugar” (100% sugar cane), and to knit-addicts who are attentive to fashion while also valuing the natural qualities of yarns.
To them, the Lana Gatto brand dedicates the “Lana Gatto Atelier Riviera” line, a celebration for the upcoming warm season of the colours of the sea, the scent of salt air and the “bien vivre” of the French Riviera in the 1960s.
To dress beach life or evenings between Saint-Tropez, Nice and Cannes, the spotlight falls on seven new yarns capable of combining a “nature” vocation with “fashion” flair, such as “Azur”, perfect for creating evening bags thanks to its polyester and cotton blend; “Mirage” which, thanks to the mix of cotton and polyamide enriched with silver sequins, brightens swimwear and beachwear; and “Plage”, a polyester tape yarn ideal for creating highly durable bags to show off by the shoreline.
Promising to outsmart the summer heat thanks to their natural yarns that never compromise on style are the proposals “Croisette” – a striped-effect yarn that makes bamboo, hemp and organic cotton the stars of warm-weather clothing – “Promenade”, whose blend of cotton, bamboo and linen lends itself to kaftans, oversized shirts and garments to wear during seaside days, and “Soleil”.
The combination of linen and cotton of this multicoloured mouliné-effect yarn makes it the ideal choice for accessories and garments to wear not only along the promenade, but also directly on the sand. Sand also inspires Lana Gatto’s “Sable”, a multicoloured cotton&viscose chainette yarn which, thanks to the natural sheen of viscose, is perfect for chic garments and accessories.
