T Network, Yarn
Books that make the noble yarn par excellence the protagonist or the inspiration

Not just Ariadne’s thread or Andy Warhol’s ball of yarn, but over 300 works that tell the thousand-year history of wool in art and industry. “ON THE THREAD OF WOOL” offers a complete repertoire dedicated not only to the yarn, but to the culture linked to it. The result is a journey from antiquity to the present day that, marked by a “thread of wool”, intertwines the history of humanity and myth. The volume, edited by Philippe Daverio, is the Catalogue of the exhibition of the same name held in Biella in 2005 (Museo del Territorio, Fabbrica Pria, Fabbrica della Ruota).
