Starting in 2025, the company will offer all 108 of its employees a Long-Term Care policy in the event of their loss of independence. This concrete measure of care and support for the internal community, which can count on a structured support plan, is designed to benefit the entire company community (108 people). The new welfare initiative launched by Tollegno 1900, coinciding with its first 125 years, is dedicated to the entire company community (108 people). In the name of promoting the care, protection, and well-being of its people, the company has activated a Long-Term Care policy for all employees, guaranteeing a monthly life annuity of €1,000, as well as a one-time contribution of €10,000 in the event of their loss of independence.
The initiative aims to be a concrete sign of protection for the future of employees, even in difficult circumstances. “Tollegno 1900’s decision to offer this coverage to all its employees, without distinction, is not only confirmation of an inclusive approach, but also a clear signal of its commitment to putting each individual at the center, protecting them even in unexpected situations, such as the loss of self-sufficiency. We are proud to build a professional environment where everyone feels truly supported and protected. Together, we continue to grow, strengthened by the values that have accompanied us for 125 years,” explains Roberto Cecchini, HR Manager at Tollegno 1900.
The company’s coverage plan is part of a structured welfare strategy that aims to promote not only the economic, but also the physical, psychological, and social well-being of its employees throughout their lives, both inside and outside of work. In addition to the Long-Term Care policy, Tollegno 1900 is working on a series of additional projects aimed at consolidating the culture of care and well-being in the name of health and prevention.
One example of this is the collaboration with the Umberto Veronesi Foundation, a national leader in oncology research and the promotion of prevention campaigns, health education, and scientific dissemination. Through this partnership, a series of information seminars open to all employees will be organized within the company to raise awareness and promote prevention.
The welfare plan also includes other activities related to sustainability and community, as well as training and personal development programs aimed at fostering individual growth and stimulating personal and professional growth.
“For Tollegno 1900, safety, well-being, and personal care are values that translate into concrete actions every day. From healthy, balanced meals in the refrigerators in the company cafeterias to health prevention programs, from a total smoking ban even in the outdoor spaces within the facility to the inauguration of the new cafeteria dedicated to production staff, through the redevelopment and renovation of company premises with the opening of new locker rooms for production staff, every initiative is designed to meet the needs of our staff, the company’s primary asset,” concludes Cecchini.
