2 June 2002: Italian Republic blows out 76 candles

On 2 June we celebrate the Republic Day, one of the most important civil events for Italy. Its history is linked to the referendum that in 1946 decreed the transition from the monarchical system to the republican one for a country that had just emerged from the Second World War.

Best wishes for these 76 years of life!
