Art, creativity, new technologies and craftsmanship come together in the Knitting the future project. Craftsmanship and new technologies for a synergistic collaboration in the fashion system developed by D-house on the occasion of Pitti Immagine Filati in Florence, from 28 to 30 June. In the stand of the urban laboratory, the artist Matteo Thiela, known for his textile and material experiments, will give life to clothes with a unique design, using an industrial production method designed by himself, in close dialogue with the most innovative technologies of D -house, such as Direct-to-Textile 3D printing. Thanks to the partnership between D-house Laboratorio Urbano and The Woolmark Company, the wools of Filatura Tollegno 1900 will be used during the performance, as well as those of Millefili Spa based in Carpi and Linsieme Filati.
