Monitor for Circular Fashion is the name of the sustainability project created by SDA Bocconi and Enel X in collaboration with the sustainability consultancy company Eco-Age and with the participation of Italian and international companies particularly active in the ‘green’ field. ‘With Monitor for Circular Fashion,’ stated during her presentation Francesca Romana Rinaldi, Coordinator of Monitor for Circular Fashion at the SDA Bocconi School of Management Sustainability Lab, ‘we want to support companies in measuring circularity performance, identifying the main KPIs for each circular fashion business model. In an open dialogue with institutions and policy makers, the Circular Fashion Manifesto will give voice to the best practices of the Italian fashion system.’ The report, based on a new methodology developed by Enel X and SDA Bocconi, will be published in September and will show the macro-trends of the sector, measure the ability of fashion companies to apply the principles of the circular economy throughout the supply chain, highlight the best practices and gaps, and finally it will propose a plan on how to integrate circularity in one of the major Italian export sectors.
