Alla scoperta di artisti che del nobile filato hanno fatto uno degli interpreti della loro creativitĂ

The work created by Pino Pascali (Bari 1935-Rome 1968) is called “Liane. Steel wool threads” in which balls of steel wool are assembled on a core of iron wire. Exhibited at the Palazzo delle Belle Arti in Rome, the work is part of the series “Reconstructions of nature”, on which Pascali has been working since the beginning of 1968. In “Liane” the use of an industrial material such as steel wool gives shape to lianas, symbols of a primordial era while the linguistic play between the material used and the title (wool/liana) generates connection.
