He or she manages spinning and twisting machines, setting processing parameters and ensuring proper operation to achieve the desired yarn characteristics (strength, regularity, and aesthetics). This is the primary role of the yarn spinning and twisting operator. Using automatic spinning and twisting machines, he or she is responsible for managing the yarn spinning and twisting processes, loading and preparing the machines, setting processing parameters, and monitoring proper operation. He or she also checks the quality of the yarn produced, performs routine maintenance on the machines, and manages the various phases of the spinning cycle.
