Breed makes a difference, but on average, up to 7.7 sweaters or 61 pairs of socks can be made from the wool of a Tasmanian sheep. The wardrobe of winter under-jackets increases if instead a Shaun sheep provides the yarn: with the wool obtained from its shearing it is possible to produce up to 35 sweaters or 280 pairs of socks.
