The Oscars of sustainable fashion awarded by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana will return to the Teatro alla Scala on September 25th.

After the last award ceremony of 2020, held in digital format due to a pandemic, the Sustainable Fashion Awards are back “live” with a lot of novelties starting from the partners: no longer EcoAge by Livia Firth, but Ethical United Nations Fashion Initiative (EFI). A tangible sign of the evolution of the event that combines the “core” of environmental sustainability with human rights and inclusion.

To be delivered on 25 September at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan will be 12 exclusive awards destined to the personalities and realities of the sector that have distinguished themselves for vision, innovation, circular economy, craftsmanship. The awarding of prizes will be carried out through the use of a preliminary ESG due diligence framework created by EFI in collaboration with the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI).

“We have decided to use a scientific approach so that this showcase becomes an effective laboratory aimed at building something new for the future, capable of simultaneously affirming the centrality of Milan”, explained Carlo Capasa president of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana.
