Lana Gatto, a hand-knitting brand headed by Tollegno 1900, has no doubts: next autumn-winter it will be “Urban”, “Natural” and “Glam”. These are the three souls of the “Fashion” collection of the brand that focuses on innovation also for the “Classic line”, in which revisited and structured color charts and three new proposals stand out, precious for the yarns that compose them and for the ability to combining lightness and thermal power without compromising aesthetics.
The result is a transversal collection, in which the sustainable spirit, dictated by exclusively natural fibers, coexists with both a glamorous component and an urban one, declined in proposals that are smart for attitude but impacting for appeal. It is New York, with its neighborhoods, its ethnic influences, its succession of styles and colors that inspire the most metropolitan line of the “Fashion” collection divided into seven yarns – “Soho”, “Park Avenue”, “Time Square”, “Tribeca”, “Chelsea”, “Wall Street”and “5Th Avenue” – which are the happy synthesis of natural fibers (extrafine merino wool, cotton, superfine alpaca and mohair) and synthetic (polyamide) ones. Extra-fine merino wool, pure cotton, cashmere and alpaca are the interpreters of the “Natural” line which relies on eco and green fibers for their origin and looks to the sky for inspiration: “Aurora”, “Eclissi”, “Nebbia”, “Tramonto” and “Tempesta”. Instead, the 5 yarns that make up the “Glam” line are called “Palladio”, “Oro”, “Argento”, “Platino” and “Rame”, which elects precious metals to be the main actors of a luminous scene. There is also space for evergreen proposals but with some significant new entries starting with colors: for the winter of 22/23 the iconic “Super Soft” will thus be able to count on a color chart with 99 nuances, 10 of which have been renamed “Fashion Vitaminic Colors for Sport & Leisure ” because specially designed for garments that dress physical activity, free time and moments of relaxation. There is also no shortage of new products. The “Luxury” line indeed welcomes three new yarns capable of synthesizing thermal power and lightness: “Kid Mohair Light” (62% super kid mohair, 12% polyamide and 26% wool), “Nuvola”, blow it in baby alpaca and polyamide that makes volume & lightness its plus, and “Nature”: 35% cotton, 25% baby alpaca and 40% extrafine merino wool.
