Witnessing history also means recounting it and passing it on to make it the foundation on which to build the future. Through the documentation preserved in our Historical Archive, we have created five Quaderni that not only trace the life of the company and its brands, but also of men and women’s fashion, national and international fairs and shops opened by the Tollegno spinning mill in Italy in the 1930s. Authentic style books which can be the springboard for the creativity and planning skills of designers, students and enthusiasts. Quaderno no. 2, along with Quaderno no. 3, above all, provides useful documentation to yarn & fabric lovers. It covers women’s fashion from the 1940s to the 1970s, referencing the fabrics produced by Tollegno 1900, with an in-depth analysis of LanBe, a brand linked to the production of high fashion fabrics purchased by the greatest stylists of the period. Centred on the events of the first men’s fashion festival held from the 1950s to the 1970s in Sanremo (IM) in which high fashion models walked the runway, the publication also focuses on the revolution started by ready-to-wear garments that were starting to appear on the market at that time.
