13 students of the specialization course in Creative Knitwear Design organized by the Accademia Costume&Moda in collaboration with Modateca Deanna have visited the company

“Shortening the distance between the world of school and that one of work is an absolute priority to allow students to have a realistic vision of the context in which they will find themselves operating at the end of their education. For this reason we always welcome with enthusiasm the classes that come to meet us interested in touching the world of yarns “, has commented Lincoln Germanetti, CEO of Tollegno 1900, the visit of the students enrolled in the Master 2022 in Creative Knitwear Design. The thirteen partecipants in the Master organized by the Accademia Costume&Moda of Rome in partnership with Modateca Deanna, were thus able to see the company’s production processes in practice and understand the steps that lead to the development of each garment. “To our visitors – explains Nicoletta Meriglio, head of fashion and trade fair coordination of the company – coming not only from Italy, but also from other European countries, from India and South America, we showed our automated dyeing plant, to make understand how colors are born, and all the historical part of our company such as the Sala Luce and the Archive: an overview between heritage and innovation”. At the end of the tour, the class has met the CEO of the company who told the world of Tollegno 1900, placing the accent on its sustainable soul, on the new frontiers of certifications, increasingly global, and on the product that most represents it: Harmony. “To leave a tangible sign of the meeting, we left each student a Harmony Pocket folder and a Collection stitches book to bode well for their career”, concludes Meriglio.
